significa ''vestido de céu''. Em suma, significa estar livre de todas as
atividades humanas e seus padrões morais e sociais.
Shiva é tido
como o maior yogue, penitente e renunciante entre todos os devas. Mas os
textos dizem que sua esposa Uma-Sati-Parvati-Kali superou ele em todos
os estágios de penitência e renúncia. A forma mais conhecida de
Digambari está na forma de Kali Mata.
